Citizens have many rights such as freedom of speech, religion, and press. We also have the very important right to vote. It is very important for United States citizens to exercise and practice the responsibilities, privileges, and rights that come along with being a citizen.
Respect for the rights of others, keeping the city neat and clean, rendering social services, helping the police, using fairs means in the examinations, relieving the people in distress, correct measurement and weighing and respecting the women are some of the non-obligatory duties of a citizen.
The rights and responsibilities of American citizens also entail an awareness of the importance of pursuing justice and social goals. It also involves attention towards issues of injustice. The citizen should analytically look at political, communal, and financial structures and consider cooperative strategies for changes that prevent injustices that occur.
